Industry Experience
My professional careers coaching draws on 35 years in broadcasting as an award winning Motion Designer and Design Director enjoying a highly creative and rewarding career, working for world renowned broadcasters, including The BBC and Sky TV.
Many years of interviewing creatives means I have valuable personal experience of the recruitment process and in-depth understanding what employers are looking for.
My industry design experience includes delivering innovative animated solutions using a variety of techniques from; 2D/3D and live action, directing shoots, working with multi-disciplined artists and state of the art technologies.
I managed talented creative teams creating a wide range of multi-platform visual solutions across branding, programme identity, promotions, sponsorship, products and online services.
This means together with my industry knowledge
and connections, I’m able to offer highly practical advice, guidance and coaching across a wide variety of specialist skills, helping support and direct people towards their ideal career opportunities.

Education Lecturer
Recently I spent 5 years teaching full-time and providing industry-focused creative advice & guidance at Brunel University on their Digital Design Media Course.
In my role as Professional Practitioner I taught across the following key areas:
Employability in the Creative Industries, Digital Branding, Marketing & Self Promotion,
Pitch & Presentation, Motion Design, Creativity for Digital Design, Graphic Design.
For the previous 20 years I enjoyed engaging with education in schools and higher education delivering motivational and informative master classes, interactive workshops, one-to-one tutorials, mentoring,
CV and interview sessions.
I have supported, coached and mentored talented and aspiring designers finding their way into exciting creative-based careers.
